Yes, I am more than excited about Star Trek. One of the reasons because I think J.J. Abrams can make this work. I have been a fan of Star Trek my whole life. My eldest brother had me watching the original series in re-runs since I was old enough to sit up by myself. "Live Long and prosper!"
Hi, I just found your blog and I like how informative it is. I had no idea they were doing a remake of the Star Trek. I'm not a big fan of it, but Zoe Zaldana and John Cho (?) of all people makes me want to see it.
I am definately excited about seeing this one. A friend of mine said that when the first trailer came out he stood up in the theator and yelled out..YEAAAAAHHH!
I enjoy obscure music, indie films and traveling to new places. Most of the time I'm writing screenplays because the art of storytelling is pretty awesome. If I could drink sunsets, I would. They're God's smoothies to the world. ~SolShine7~
"The typical fantasy is epic, involving great battles for freedom, even for the survival of the world--concerns that overreach the mundane and petty details of day to day life... Of all the genres, fantasy is the only one that acknowledges the existence of this battle, and for that reason I would claim it is in some ways more representative of reality than more “realistic” stories which, if anything, tend to convey the message that it doesn’t exist." (Karen Hancock from her website)
"In my books, I take you through the darkness by shining the true Light. For we know that the only resolution for fear and dread is the true Light that brings Life. Despite my scary plots and creepy characters, Christian Chillers are about light, life, and the glory of Jesus Christ." (Kathryn Mackel from her website)

"September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird..."
Smallville
"So what are you? Man or superman?" -Lana (pilot episode)
Dark Angel
"Girls kick [butt], says so on a t-shirt" -Max
X-Men
"Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." -Storm

The one thing I do like about Star Trek is the Borg, they're just wicked cool.

Zoe Saldana owns the keys to my soul... thankfully she uses them for good and not evil.
